In 1950 Silvio Nardi bought the Casale del Bosco estate in Montalcino. In 1958 he produced his first bottle of Brunello in Montalcino. In 1990 Emilia Nardi took over the company management from her father and embarked on a process of restructuring the vineyards and reorganizing the cellar.
