The wines signed by Alphonse Mellot are the great synthesis of the spectacular territory of Sancerre, masterpiece French white wines , rich in fruit and mineral complexity. Expert winemakers since 1500 say that the birth of a good wine is a slow work of taming the terroir, a craftsmanship that the Alphonse Mellots know well and that has led them to create authentic masterpieces. The estate extends for more than 30 hectares on a limestone territory exposed to the south, where the work of the soil and the vineyard is an essential act. 

This Pouilly-Fumé is the only Sauvignon from Mellot that does not come from the Sancerre vineyards, but from those of Pouilly-sur-Loire. On the nose, it presents intense aromas of ripe fruit and citrus, with evident floral nuances. On the palate, the wine unfolds with balance: soft and mineral, closing harmoniously on citrus notes.
