The wines signed by Alphonse Mellot are the great synthesis of the spectacular territory of Sancerre, French white wines masterpiece, rich in fruit and mineral complexity. Expert winemakers since 1500 affirm that the birth of a good wine is a slow work of taming the terroir, a craftsmanship that Alphonse Mellot they know well and which led them to create authentic masterpieces. The estate extends for more than 30 hectares on a limestone territory facing south, where the work of the soil and the vineyard is an essential act.

This Pouilly-Fumé it's the only one Mellot Sauvignon which does not come from the Sancerre vineyards, but from those of Pouilly-sur-Loire. On the nose it presents intense aromas of ripe fruit and citrus, with evident floral nuances. On the palate, the wine unfolds with balance: soft and mineral, it closes harmoniously on citrus notes.
