In 1967 Sergio Manetti purchased two hectares of land in Radda in Chianti and decided to produce wine. In 1971 he offered his wine on the tasting tables at Vinitaly. He achieved great success which pushed him to invest all of himself in this wine project. Thanks to the help of Giulio Gambelli and Bruno Bini he planted numerous other hectares and his project took hold, becoming one of the most renowned wineries in Tuscany today.
The Pergoole Torte 1997 is a wine with bright characters with a crunchy expression of the fruit both on the nose and in the mouth. Excellent structure flanked by a notable acidity. Ready to drink but with great potential for aging.
