One of the newest and most promising realities in Valtellina is that of the Dirupi winery. It was founded by two young oenologists Davide Fasolini and Pierpaolo Di Franco in 2003. The Dirupi vineyards are located among the "heroic" terraces of Valtellina, they consist of 5 hectares of vineyards divided into 3 areas, with an average annual production of approximately 15,000 bottles. Between the rows, the plants are cared for in a rigorous and meticulous manner, respecting nature, the environment and the entire ecosystem as much as possible.

The Grumello Riserva di Dirupi is expressive, incisive on the palate and has an excellent structure. A fresh and savory taste made dynamic by an excellent dose of acidity while the compact tannins tease the center of the tongue. The wines of the Grumello sub-area are known for their aging properties.
