In the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru we find Philipponnat, a company that owns 20 hectares of the most beautiful Pinot Noir vineyards in the territory of Mareuil, Ay, Mutigny and Avenay, all magnificently exposed to the south and set on the pure craie. The main characteristics are: the most natural vinification possible, fermentation temperatures that are never too low and low dosages so that the sugar cannot mask the balance between freshness and vinosity.

Blending the best Chardonnay chalk territories of Champagne, the Grand Blanc cuvèe is a notable exception in the range of Philipponnat wines, which has made Pinot Noir its signature. Although rather intense and with a creamy consistency, this wine has all the lightness and finesse of a great Blanc de Blanc.
