The Braida winery was founded in 1961 by Giacomo Bologna, who inherited the vineyard from his father Giuseppe. The family has always paid a great deal of attention to its wines and to how the work done in the vineyard could help to intervene as little as possible on the wine in the cellar. Giacomo is considered the father of modern Barbera, in terms of quality and quantity, with a yield of extraordinary cleanliness and precision. Giacomo Bologna Braida is credited with having restored dignity to Barbera d'Asti, depriving it of its plebeian patina and elevating it to a red wine of great value, requested on tables all over the world.

Bricco dell'Uccellone di Braida is a ruby wine with well-defined characteristics starting from its solid and imposing structure up to its distinct and crunchy aromas.
