The wines signed by Alphonse Mellot are the great synthesis of the spectacular territory of Sancerre, masterpiece French white wines , rich in fruit and mineral complexity. Expert winemakers since 1500 affirm that the birth of a good wine is a slow work of domestication of the terroir, an artisanal work that the Alphonse Mellots know well and that led them to create authentic masterpieces. The estate extends for more than 30 hectares on a limestone territory facing south, in which the work of the soil and the vineyard is an essential act.

ThisPouilly-Fumé is the only Sauvignon de Mellot that does not come from the vineyards of Sancerre, but from those of Pouilly-sur-Loire. The nose has intense aromas of ripe fruit and citrus fruits, with evident floral nuances. On the palate, the wine relaxes with balance: soft and mineral, it closes harmoniously with citrus notes.
