Paolo Scavino is a historic winery in the Barolo region, founded in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo, now managed by the fourth generation. In over 60 years of experience, the goal has been to invest in important Nebbiolo crus to show the uniqueness of each terroir. Alongside Nebbiolo, there are also dolcetto and barbera, so that from the 29 hectares of vineyards owned, all punctually excellent labels are obtained, extraordinary wines that have been receiving regular acclaim from national and international wine critics for years.
Barolo Carobric is a wine that was born in 1996 as a combination of grapes from three different crus of the Barolo cultivation area. Thanks to careful work in the vineyard, it is a wine of absolute elegance and complexity, precise and intense.
