It was in 1760, right in the midst of the intellectual, cultural and scientific movement of the Enlightenment that the Maison Delamotte was founded in Reims by François Delamotte. Maison Delamotte is above all a family story between a father, François Dalamotte and his two sons, Alexandre and Nicolas-Louis. François Delamotte, born in Reims in 1722, was "Conseiller-échevin" of Reims, captain of the bourgeois militia. Large vineyard owner in Cumières. in 1760 he founded a house of Champagne wines in his name in Reims, in the building located on the corner of rue Cérès and rue Marmousets, where his residence was located.

Delamotte's Champagne Blanc de Blancs is straw yellow, sharp on the palate and explosive on the nose. Crunchy and intriguing. A great Champagne!
