Champagne Clos de Goisses 1998 Brut Philipponnat Magnum
In the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru we find Philipponnat, a company that owns 20 hectares of the most beautiful Pinot Noir vineyards in the Mareuil, Ay, Mutigny and Avenay area, all magnificently exposed to the south and set on pure craie. The main characteristics are: the most natural vinification possible, fermentation temperatures never too low and low dosages so that sugar cannot mask the balance between freshness and vinosity.
The Extra Brut dosage (4.25 g/l), that is, one third of the classic “brut” dosage of Champagne, of Clos Des Goisses leaves ample room for the vinosity and minerality of this exceptional vineyard. With a fine and delicate foam that reveals fruity aromas of black cherry and black cherry on the nose. An intense and structured wine with a beautiful length in the mouth.
