The most famous of the Maison's wines was born in 1876 to satisfy the demanding taste of Tsar Alexander II. The emperor asks Louis Roederer to reserve for him the best cuvée of the Maison every year, which he particularly appreciates. A flat-bottomed crystal bottle will be specially created for the occasion. It will bear the name of this precious material, which enhances its transparency and luminosity. Made only in the "great vintages", when the maturity of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that compose it is perfect.

Crystal is a balanced champagne, with an absolutely unique persistence in the mouth. The velvety texture reveals aromas of fruits supported by a mineral strength from which notes of white fruits and citrus fruits are released. Wine that ages beautifully.
