In 1834 Joseph Krug arrived in France from Germany and began working as a cellarman for Jacquesson. In 1843 he decided to found his own Champagne manufacturing company, with the idea of creating unique products that could distinguish themselves on the market for their finesse. A very determined man who over time conquered the international scene becoming one of the top three greatest Champagne producers ever. Since 1999 it has belonged to the LVMH group which allows it to acquire even more notoriety.
Krug 1998 Brut is a golden wine with notes of honey, pineapple in syrup and toasted hazelnuts. An enveloping and clean mouth. A noteworthy finish for a prolonged and lasting retro-olfactory sensation.
