Purchased by Ferruccio Ferragamo in 1993, a relaunch project for the entire company was launched. The first wine comes out in 1999 to the great pleasure of the critics who a few years later, in 2007, enthusiastically witness the beginning of a path towards sustainable agriculture. In 2012, Tenuta il Borro declared the exclusion of all chemical products and took yet another step towards biodynamic agriculture.

Il Borro 2001 is a wine with intense and concentrated aromas with nuances of orange peel and prune. Soft tannins and excellent persistence.
