The Marchesi dei Frescobaldi winery is one of the great realities in the history of wine in Tuscany. The Frescobaldis move from Val di Pesa to Florence around the XIII century. and they reach an important economic milestone which will soon allow them to invest in the world of wine. Ornellaia 2011 is intense and young, on the nose there is an intense fruit, fully ripe but at the same time fresh and vibrant, underlined by delicate balsamic and toasted notes. In the mouth the great concentration is striking with an imposing tannic structure, but particularly velvety and smooth, allowing the wine to expand throughout the mouth without leaving any heaviness.
