In the heart of the Grumello sub-area, a few minutes' drive from Sondrio, you will come across this small and historic family-run company. Here the Gianatti family, challenging harsh and difficult lands, has continued the tradition of growing vines on the historic and heroic terraces of Valtellina for generations. Giorgio Gianatti's wines reflect typicality and tradition. With extreme care he cultivates 2 hectares of vineyard, practicing low environmental impact viticulture, based on integrated pest control.
The Rosso di Valtellina from the Gianatti Giorgio winery is a young and impetuous wine that is recognized for its great strength. Aromas of red fruit such as cherry and black cherry bounce on the tongue and release excellent retronasal sensations. A fairly long and elegant finish.
