Poetry in a bottle
Vie di Romans cellars
The Gallo family has owned the Vie di Romans company since the early 1900s and owes its name to the Roman road which in dialect is called Vie di Romans. Gianfranco Gallo has been leading the company since 1978 with great dedication and expertise. Thanks to his knowledge of the wine world, Gianfranco has often been recognized as a master of wine and modern winemaking techniques. Its high quality wines are a model for many producers and thanks to the meticulous search for perfection they have always received excellent reviews. A cellar that produces a wide range of wines to discover.
Champagne David Léclapart
Rècoltant-manipulant of Trépail - a small Premier Cru village north of Ambonnay, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims - David Léclapart on the death of his father decided to devote himself entirely to biodynamic agriculture. In 1997 he converted all the vineyards owned by the family, 3 hectares of land, to biodynamics and made three important decisions: not to add any liqueur, not to use vin de réserve or to blend different vintages. The principles that govern the work in the cellar are identical to those in the vineyard: precision, respect for life and its rhythms, the search for purity.
Mas De Daumas Gassac, Goose tongue
Moulin de Gassac wines were created in the early 1990s by the father and founder of Mas de Daumas Gassac, Aimé Guibert. Following the introduction of the grubbing-up premium, he started working with local winegrowers to save his parcels. The Moulin de Gassac Selection has played a decisive role in preventing the disappearance of this terroir. Subsequently, Mas de Daumas Gassac confirmed the unique identity of the wines with its own signature: Moulin de Gassac. Produced from unique vineyards, with the help of their expertise, the Moulin de Gassac selection reflects a shared desire to offer authentic wines. Like the first Moulin de Gassac cuvée – Figaro – which was awarded the title of best wine in the world in its category upon its release in 1993, these wines have always expressed success crowned by an intense selection process and rigorous respect for disciplinary. To try!
