In the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru we find Philipponnat, a company that owns 20 hectares of the most beautiful Pinot Noir vineyards in the Mareuil, Ay, Mutigny and Avenay area, all magnificently exposed to the south and set on pure craie. The main characteristics are: the most natural vinification possible, fermentation temperatures never too low and low dosages so that sugar cannot mask the balance between freshness and vinosity.

A blend of the best Chardonnay chalk terroirs of Champagne, the Grand Blanc cuvée is a notable exception in the range of Philipponnat wines, which has made Pinot Noir its signature. Although rather intense and creamy in texture, this wine has all the lightness and finesse of a great Blanc de Blanc.
