Grandfather, Roger, founded Champagne R. Pouillon in 1947 and father James has done an incredible job developing the Domaine. They intervene as little as possible in the winemaking process. Fermentation is induced by autochthonous yeasts or naturally present on the bunches. A second malolactic fermentation brings softness and complexity to their wines. Champagne Rose Saigne by Pouillon has notes of acacia and hawthorn, with a finish that recalls strawberry and black cherry. A Champagne of medium intensity and structure, balanced and harmonious, with a pleasant freshness and minerality.
