Fonterutoli is located not far from Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG. Marquis Mazzei, since 1435 has owned the castle and the surrounding farm, which today extends over 650 hectares, 117 of which are vineyards. The main vine of this area is Sangiovese. The company produces high caliber wines that reflect the tradition and essence of this area. In 2006 the company finished the new cellar, designed by the architect Agnese Mazzei. A place to visit!
